The Direct Action & Research Training Center (DART) is looking for students interesting in careers in community organizing. DART is working to hold police accountable, stop gun violence, fight for environmental justice, and more. They are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to do this impactful grassroots work across the country.
DART will hold a LIVE online info session on Wednesday, February 15th at 7pm EST to discuss careers in community organizing. All U-M and alumni welcome, particularly those graduating before May 2023.

DART trains professional organizers and community organizations how to work for social, economic and racial justice, including:
* Holding police departments accountable
* Stopping gun violence
* Fighting for environmental justice
* Shutting down the school-to-prison pipeline
* Reining in predatory lenders
* Expanding access to healthcare
* Fighting for immigrants’ rights
Associate Community Organizer:Starting salary $47,000-$50,000/year + benefits
Positions begin May 2023 and August 2023 in:

Kansas: Johnson County, Wichita
Kentucky: Louisville
South Carolina: Charleston
