PhD Scholarships for Peace & Conflict Studies

Applications are invited for two 3-year PhD scholarships at the National Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Otago in New Zealand.  Applications are due August 21st, 2015.

Applicants pursuing projects that build on the following existing strengths of the Centre are particularly encouraged to apply:

• Development and Peace Building

• Nonviolent movements and Pacifism

• Post Conflict Reconstruction: Transitional Justice, Reconciliation and Social Healing

• Peace Education

• Critical Peace Studies

• Arms Control and Disarmament

The scholarships will be funded through the University of Otago and provide an annual stipend of NZ$25,000 for up to 36 months (3 years). Please note the scholarships will cover tuition fees.
