Institute for Peace and Dialogue Training Program

The Institute for Peace and Dialogue Training Program (IPD) invites interested parties for its 10-20 Days Summer Academy during the 16-26 July (IX Summer Academy) and 25 July- 3 August 2018 (X Summer Academy) in Switzerland

The main goal of the training program is to strengthen the skills of the representatives of state organizations, business sector, INGOs/NGOs, education institutions, religious organizations, independent mediators and politicians through institutional global academic education in mediation, conflict management, leadership, trauma healing and cross-cultural communication.

Applicants can either choose a 10 or 20 days Summer Academy or 3 Month CAS-Research Program together with the 10-20 Days Training participation depending on the application. Participants have access to expert knowledge and hands on experience as all our facilitators are specialists with years of experience in their respective fields.

Candidates must have an excellent academic record and a strong interest in issues of peace and security. The program is open to all U.S. citizens, and non-U.S. citizens living in the U.S. eligible for employment. Benefits include a $3,100 monthly salary, health insurance, alumni and board mentoring, travel to Washington, DC to begin the fellowship, and a small stipend to attend meetings or take a course.
