The Amherst College Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Law Journal is a new journal in which undergraduates from colleges and universities across the country will be encouraged to publish their research and work in law and the liberal arts.

The IULJ seeks to publish substantial, well-written papers addressing issues in the domain of law and the liberal arts, including discussions of representations of the law in film and books (both fiction and non-fiction), discussions of contemporary issues in law (terrorism, human rights, international justice), and other similar topics.  The journal will be published 2 times per academic year, with the potential for special issues. The journal seeks to publish thought-provoking articles, which will be centered on law and the liberal arts that will enrich the field.

Submissions will be considered within 3 weeks of confirmed receipt and chosen for successive issues based on applicable publication deadlines. Papers written by a student for classes are welcome as is work specifically written for publication in the journal.

If you have anything you feel contributes to the field, the journal welcomes the submission. Please encourage your students to submit to the journal.
